Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. January 2026.
The Hawaiʻi Cannabis Expo has announced a dedicated art exhibit as part of its 2026 programming, taking place January 30 through February 1 at the Neal S Blaisdell Center Exhibition Hall in Honolulu.
The art exhibit will feature works by Hawaiʻi based and Hawaiʻi connected artists, showcasing creative perspectives influenced by place, culture, and cannabis. The exhibit runs throughout all three days of the Expo and is included with general admission.
The exhibit reflects the Expo’s long standing commitment to cannabis as culture, not only as policy or industry. Organizers describe the exhibit as a platform for visual storytelling, local voices, and creative expression rooted in Hawaiʻi.
Selected works include painting, illustration, mixed media, and graphic art. Many of the participating artists have deep ties to Hawaiʻi’s cannabis community and use their work to explore themes of identity, land, healing, and resistance.
The art exhibit will be installed within the main exhibition hall, allowing attendees to engage with the work alongside educational panels, exhibitors, and community programming. An award will be presented to a featured artist, with the announcement taking place during the Expo.
“Hawaiʻi has a long history of creative resistance and expression,” said Expo organizers. “This exhibit creates space for artists who reflect the lived experience, culture, and complexity of cannabis in Hawaiʻi.”
The Hawaiʻi Cannabis Expo is Hawaiʻi’s longest running cannabis education and community event. The 2026 Expo features three days of programming, including public education panels, medical discussions, policy conversations, cultural showcases, and industry participation.
The Expo takes place Friday, January 30 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Saturday, January 31 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Sunday, February 1 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The event is open to the public.
Tickets are available for single day and multi day entry. More information about the art exhibit, speakers, and programming is available at hawaiicannabisexpo.com.
