Hawaiʻi Cannabis Expo 2026 Speaker Spotlight. Wendy Gibson-Viviani

Cannabis nursing leader and medical educator joins Hawaiʻi Cannabis Expo programming

Hawaiʻi Cannabis Expo 2026 announces Wendy Gibson-Viviani as a featured medical speaker appearing Saturday and Sunday, January 31 and February 1, 2026 at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall in Honolulu.

Wendy Gibson-Viviani is a PTA, RN, BSN and a nationally recognized cannabis nurse educator focused on patient care, clinical education, and evidence based cannabis use. She serves as Chair of Education and Research for the American Cannabis Nurses Association and works closely with Hawaiʻi’s Department of Health.

At the 2026 Expo, Gibson-Viviani will lead medical education sessions including “The Dawning of the Age of Cannabis Nursing” and “Keeping Your Body’s THC Factory Healthy.” These sessions explore the endocannabinoid system, patient education, and practical approaches to compassionate care.

As cannabis education becomes increasingly important in healthcare settings, Gibson-Viviani’s work helps bridge research, clinical practice, and patient advocacy. Her sessions are designed for patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and the general public.

The Hawaiʻi Cannabis Expo brings together education, culture, and policy discussions rooted in local context and community needs. Medical programming remains a core pillar of the event.
