Code of Conduct

Hawaiʻi Cannabis Expo is a professional event. We expect respectful behavior from all attendees, exhibitors, speakers, staff, contractors, and media. We enforce this policy to protect the experience and safety of everyone on site.

Event dates. January 30 to February 1, 2026. Location. Neal S. Blaisdell Exhibition Hall, Honolulu.

Age policy

Adults 18 and older. Minors are allowed only when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Children under 12 are free with an adult.

What we expect

  • Treat people with respect. Keep it professional.
  • Follow all posted venue rules and staff instructions.
  • Respect lines, sessions, and shared spaces.
  • Ask permission before filming or photographing close up individuals or inside booths.
  • Keep aisles clear. Maintain safe walkways and exits.

Unacceptable behavior

  • Harassment, intimidation, threats, or unwanted physical contact.
  • Discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or veteran status.
  • Disrupting sessions, booths, lines, or event operations.
  • Stalking, repeated unwanted contact, or following.
  • Fighting, assault, or damage to property.
  • Bringing prohibited items as defined by venue policy or event policy.
  • Unsafe intoxication or behavior that creates a safety risk.

Booth and marketing conduct

  • Do not block aisles or neighboring booths.
  • No aggressive solicitation. Do not pressure attendees.
  • Keep sound at a reasonable level. Follow staff direction if asked to reduce volume.
  • Do not place flyers on vehicles or venue property.
  • Respect attendee privacy. Do not collect data without clear opt in.

Media and filming

  • Be respectful when filming. Avoid interfering with traffic flow.
  • Do not film restricted areas.
  • Get permission before recording interviews.
  • Staff may stop filming that disrupts operations or violates privacy.

Reporting an issue

If you feel unsafe or experience unacceptable behavior, report it immediately. Find Event Staff at check-in or ask any staff member to contact the event manager on duty.

If you are in immediate danger, contact venue security or call 911.

Enforcement

We will investigate reports and respond as we see fit based on the circumstances. Actions may include a warning, removal from a session or the show floor, revocation of credentials, or contacting venue security or law enforcement. Refunds are not required when access is revoked for Code of Conduct violations.

Scope

This policy applies to all official event spaces, including sessions, expo floor, lines, entrances, exits, restrooms, and event affiliated activities. It also applies to online communication related to the event.
