James “JJ” Johnson Jr. leads an informational session focused on the medical and therapeutic applications of hemp, with an emphasis on education, access, and real world use. This session provides practical insight into hemp’s benefits for patients, farmers, and communities navigating the evolving plant landscape.
Master Sergeant James “JJ” Johnson Jr. is a retired U.S. Air Force Combat Flight Engineer with over 1,100 flight hours and extensive combat service. Following retirement, he dedicated his work to industrial hemp education, supporting farmers across more than twenty states and helping veterans navigate VA benefits and post service opportunities.
JJ is a co founder of Veterans Scientific Laboratories, where he provides analytical testing services to growers while creating pathways for veterans in the emerging plant industry. His work reflects a continued commitment to service, education, and integrity beyond uniform.
